Blaise A. Guzzetta

Blaise brings more than five decades of experience in insurance, employee benefits and financial services to Blue Water Advisors. A native Houstonian, he founded Guzzetta Benefit Services to help business owners and individuals plan with clarity and intention. That firm has since evolved into Blue Water Advisors, now led by Corey Magliolo.

Blaise holds a finance degree from the University of Houston and served six years in the Air National Guard, working on aircraft as part of the U.S. Air Force. He has earned multiple professional designations, including Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), and completed the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA) program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Today, Blaise continues to advise clients while supporting the firm’s long-term vision, sharing practical strategies that help individuals and organizations plan confidently for the future.

What is your blue water?

Spending quality time with family and the peace of mind that comes from having a plan. My faith is important to me and being able to help others feel confident about their future is what I value most in my work. Growing up in a large Italian family shaped my belief in hard work, saving and generosity — values that continue to guide how I serve clients today.
