Sheryl is a Wealth Advisor with Blue Water Advisors. She provides wealth management advice to clients, conducts investment research and leads the firm’s Women’s Initiative – its effort to provide exceptional support and advice to female clients, especially those dealing with change.
Previously, Sheryl was a Managing Director of Navigare Partners, an investment management firm with approximately $1 billion of peak assets under management, where she had several roles, including investment analyst and chief financial officer. Prior to that she was a Senior Vice President at Alliance Capital, where she was a high yield portfolio manager working with institutional investors. Sheryl joined Alliance from Equitable Capital, an investment subsidiary of Equitable Life, where she was a Managing Director and private debt specialist in the Corporate Finance Department responsible for analyzing, negotiating, documenting and monitoring new privately placed fixed income investments.
Sheryl earned a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is a CFA® charterholder and is working towards obtaining CFP® certification. Sheryl is a member of the CFA Institute, the New York Society of Security Analysts, the Financial Planning Association of Long Island and the Penn Club of Long Island.
Sheryl lives in East Hills and enjoys indoor rowing, playing bridge, reading novels, going to the theater, and spending time with family and friends.
